Annual Meeting 2007

June 16, 2007. 25th Anniversary Celebration
Chapter Secretary/Treasurer Bruce Woolridge reviewing the financial status of the Chapter at the end of FY2006. At this point, FY2006 President Bill Andrle was chairing the meeting. A portion of the members can be seen in this photo. The annual meeting this year was very special as it was the 25th anniversary of the Chapter. On the table in the foreground are some of the Chapter documents from when the Chapter was formed, plus some documentation of honors the Chapter has received during the previous 25 years. Attending were 12 of the previous Chapter presidents. The presidents are shown in this picture in the order in which they served, starting in the back row: Byron White, Marybess Grisham, Gene Meysenburg, Joe Perrin, Fred Tischler, Phil Gregory and Jimmy Barker. In the front row are: Claude Leis, Russ Aikins, Chuck Edwards, Bill Edwards and Bill Andrle. Two of the previous Chapter Presidents have passed away: Jim Kitterman and John Plume. We were also saddened by the news that our first President, David Tips, was seriously ill so could not attend. Outgoing president Bill Andrle reviewed the accomplishments of the past year with the members. Newly elected president Phil Ball addresses the members.
NAWCC Chairman and Chapter ex-president Phil Gregory reported on some of the things happening in our parent organization. Phil Gregory presented Chapter ex-president Russ Aikins with the Fellow award from NAWCC. Congratulations Russ. The recognition is well deserved! Byron White discussed some of the early history of the Chapter. Byron was the Chapter's first secretary/treasurer. He later became the third Chapter president. Byron is also the Chapter historian. New Chapter president Phil Ball presents the outgoing president Bill Andrle with a plaque and a lifetime membership in Chapter 124. Bill has done an outstanding job as Chapter 124 President!
New officers were elected. (Left to Right) Phil Ball (President), Pam Tischler (Vice President), Bruce Wooldridge (Secretary/Treasurer), Larry Grubb (Educational Director), Mark Vozar (Convention Director), John Acker (Mart Director) and Bill Andrle (Past President).
