September 19, 2009. The Chapter 124 picnic was held at the home of Chuck and Marion Edwards in their lovely home in Oak Leaf, TX. We had 68 members and family members attend.
1 We ate twenty five pounds of sliced brisket, tons of other great food including vegetables, relishes & some of the best nanner puddin ever!

9 The Edwards live on an acreage so parking was on some of their land. Only 3 people got stuck in the wet parking area. It was surprising there weren't more considering about 12 inches of rain in the previous week!
10 This was a fun time for the children who attended. At various times, they shot hoops (basketball), kicked soccer balls into the goal, played foose ball, played whiffle ball, swam (also included some older "non-kids"), and riding around in a little red wagon.
