Candlelight at Old City Park 2003

December 12-14, 2003.
Each December, Old City Park sponsors "Candlelight at Old City Park". This year Chapter 124 members decorated the Railroad Depot with clocks and watches that would have been in Railroad depots during Victorian times. In addition, members were on hand to explain the items to many interested parties.  Chapter members Phil Gregory and Chuck Edwards at the Depot! Chuck Edwards synchronizes his railroad watch before bording passengers for the 4:30 train to Houston. A Self Winding Clock Company clock as found in most railroad stations at the turn of the century. A large American Regulator dated about 1890.
Russ Aikins waits for the next train to Las Vegas. On the wall above him are 2 classic American clocks from about 1920. Don't they have an "Admiral's Lounge" in this depot? Phil Gregory with a collection of Railroad Watches belonging to a Chapter 124 member.
