George Bush Presidential Library Exhibit

November 7, 2005 through July 30, 2006 the Museum at the George Bush Presidential Library undertook its most ambitious exhibit yet — exploring America's love affair with trains.  The exhibit was titled "Trains: Tracks of the Iron Horse".  Chapter 124 provided the horological portion of this exhibit. A view of the total Chapter 124 Exhibit. 1906-1929 The Golden Age of Railroad 1930-1969 The Great Depression - The End of an Era Chapter 124 Past President Chuck Edwards sets the time on a large Self Winding Clock Company Clock. SWCC clocks were used in most railroad depots. They were synchronized from a central time source (the Navy Observatory) so were very accurate. Chapter 124 President Bill Edwards does some fine tuning on this clock before putting the dial and hands back on it.
